Quick swing from his near hat trick to the equalizer

I mean I’m not really surprised anymore
As soon as the game is 80 minutes in it’s expected we concede a goal especially if we’re up 1 or tied up. Sanchez needs to go

Sanchez was very bad today. It was so bad I almost started feeling sorry for him.
For somebody who played for Ajax, his ball skills are pretty poor.
Also, Almiron may be one of the top 3 most punchable players in the league.

How bad is this team going to be once Kane leaves?

Hopefully a hard reset and hard look in the mirror for the whole team during the break.
Nope.

Been reading about teams pausing team social media sites because players getting racial attacks and what not. With Son, I have to think these are not Spurs fans because what Spurs fan would attack Son? What stops fans from other teams from doing this and causing a club to shut down its social media? Just curious.

I thought they were pausing them to bring awareness to racism not necessarily as a direct way to try to stop it. Most of the stuff Son is getting is united twats but Sanchez got some fricked up messages from Spurs fans. Social media is a cesspool

I didn't even have the heart to bump the thread between all the shite performances from top to bottom and then the Son racism stuff
What a shite sandwich of a season it's been

Anybody else keeps forgetting that Spurs have a cup final in 2 weeks?

I truly think if we lose Carabao then Jose is out the next day.
Gives us 5 PL matches to salvage some points under an interim and a head start on finding a replacement (I'm dreaming for Nagelsmann)
Edit: I'm getting ahead of myself because it's vs Man City...in our current form we'd be lucky to keep it at 3-0

It wouldn't surprise me if this was the case. However, I think his buyout is linked to qualifying for Europe so Levy may let him have the rest of the season to see if he could save some money. (Which from what I remember, actually is a lot in this case.)

That's a good point. Especially considering how low the club spending will be this summer around the world bc of COVID we'll be trying to save every penny.

Our backline is just complete shambles. Eric Dier is not a PL center back no matter how hard we try. I will never question his effort or attitude towards the team. Dude is an absolute warrior, but just doesn't read the game the way a top-class CB needs to. He is a step behind the play all game long and doesn't have the athleticism to make up for those mistakes. Sanchez is equally bad at reading the play and keeping tabs on his man, but he is able to overcome some of it because of his speed. Aurier is capable of great games and had a good run at the beginning of the season, but he is just too inconsistent to trust every week.
I don't think there is a manager out there that could fix our defense. It has to come from investment.

I find it hilariously ironic how under Mourinho Spurs have a great scoring record but can't defend a lead for their lives.
With that being said, I'm cool with building the defense around Rodon and Reguilon. Was hoping Toby could give one or two more good years, but I'm not so certain anymore.
And also, don't look now, but Lloris is getting old. He's still fantastic, but the decline is coming.
ETA: Assuming Sanchez/Dier is sold, I wouldn't mind going after Joachim Andersen. He's currently on loan at Fulham from Lyon.

I think we keep Dier bc Jose is in love with him & he does contribute to the homegrown tally.
IN: Joachim Anderson/Milan Skriniar
OUT: Sanchez/Toby/Davies

C'mon man...at least let me keep Davies. You can even get rid of Winks if you want.

I dont mind him but with Sessegnon coming back from loan and Bale most likely heading back to Madrid it might be time to break up the Welsh Mafia
