League Cup Final Starting XI
God help us with Winks

I hope that there is a really good reason Mason didn't choose Ndombele in the starting XI.

Just read a good point that Mason is also balancing the possibility that this game goes 120 minutes which neither Ndombele nor Bale can really do
Also guessing he likes his chances with Kane & Son vs Steffen at GK

Biggest match in years and you start Harry fricking Winks. I’m going to mow the yard. frick this.

If the team is going to be uninterested in being on the pitch, I’m uninterested in watching them the rest of the season. That was fricking atrocious.

I’m actually very proud of the defensive effort from the Back 4. They were left out to dry all damn game from our pitiful offense and I’m shocked they held off until the 81st minute. Referees were garbage as well but I’ve said that ad nauseum already and they weren’t the reason we lost.
As long as Mason can at least get us qualified for Europa then I’m okay with it. Regroup over the summer, cut some dead weight, and get Nagelsmann in here.

We lost when sissoko came on. We were holding on with some great saves and last ditch blocks but needed a boost to the attack for the last 20. It should have been ndombele and Bale and showed some courage to get a goal

Looks like Nagelsmann to Bayern is all but guaranteed. He would have been a great hire for Spurs, but Bayern is clearly the better job so can't blame him for taking that opportunity.
I really don't see Rodgers leaving Leicester with a spot in the top 4 looking likely and the FA Cup final still to play for.
My number one hire at this point would be Erik ten Hag. We tried to take a shortcut to win a trophy with the Mourinho hire and it backfired in a big way. We have completely gotten away from playing the type of football that Spurs are known for and have no identity right now. ETH would bring the system and style of football that Spurs want to play and coming from the AJAX system he has experience developing younger players. We need to commit to a new project that gets back to our style of football and youth development. We are never gonna be able to outspend the biggest clubs so committing to a system/style of football and developing talent is our best way forward.

Erik ten Hag
Graham Potter
Eddie Howe
Those seem to be the names popping up now

ten Hag is easily clear of those other guys. We need to get off our arse and make it happen. ten Hag has the experience and success to back up his philosophy. We need more than just a young guy who plays attractive football.

He better be
And I have a hunch that if we can’t land him then Levy is going to bring Scott Parker home so...I’d much prefer ten Hag

ETH or The Brodge is probably the best Spurs can hope for.
I would like Scotty Parker at some point down the line, but I still think it's a bit too early for him.
I wouldn't mind Howe. However, his signings/transfers at Bournemouth were pretty bad, so that scares me a bit.
I appreciate what Potter is doing at Brighton, but he really doesn't get me fired up. Pass for now.
Longshot that may be worth a gamble: Steven Gerrard.

I’m fully prepared to be underwhelmed, but honestly I’m more concerned about shipping out the dead weight this summer. Short of a pep caliber hire I can’t see anyone coming in and implementing their plan if the locker room feels the same.

Of the names being floated only Rodgers & gerrard would actually get me excited, and even gerrard seems like a lose/lose. If he’s great then he goes to Liverpool, and if he sucks we suck. But maybe we could get a few years out of him before klopp moves on.

Dude agree. We have to get rid of a lot of these bums.
Winks, Sissoko, Doherty, One of Dier/Sanchez, Aurrier. Then no point in bringing back Bale or Carlos. Also should probably part with one of Lamala/Lucas, Dele and potentially Davies.
Potentially $100-120MM right there depending on what you can get for Winks and Dele.
Bring back Skipp And Sess. Then fully rebuild the Def with a RB ($30) and an an elite CB ($50), secure another winger($20) and a ball control Mid ($40) and see if one of the kids can back up Kane or look into a vet and also figure out the goal keeper situation. I think we have 1 more year with Hugo.
$140-160MM
GK - Hugo, Backup
RB - New 1, Tanganga
CB - Elite 1, Rodon, 2 of Dier/Toby/Sanchez
LB - Reggie, Sess
DM - PEH, Skipp
HM - New 1, Lo Celso
AM - Ndombele
WG - Son, Stevie, New 1, 1 of Lucas/Lamala
ST - Kane,

4-0 win with a Bale hat-trick.
I know it was against Sheffield, but still feels good man.

That’s the kind of shite they should be doing against the team at the bottom of the table.....this just made me even more pissed about other matches.

I was seething after that cünt Fleck stamped down on Lo celso’s face and didn’t get sent off. He knew exactly what he was doing. Unbelievable.
