Gets us back on track in Europa and now shouldshould be another 3 points at The Hawthorns on Saturday as the Baggies are at the bottom of the table

That game felt like LSU playing an 11AM kickoff. Very lethargic overall but West Brom defended well so credit to them. Thank frick for Kane

Leicester are top of the table and Spurs are in second.

Anyone else have PTSD?

That has to be the most brutal stretch of 6 matches that any team has.

City
@ Chelsea
Arse
@ CP
@ Pool
Leicester

I don’t even know what I would consider a success from those games (besides 18 pts obviously). Guess it depends on other results

Very happy for 3 points today after watching that, especially the first half.

His form is just mellowing out a bit, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Hell, he almost had a goal today minus a fantastic block by thr defender.

B/R reporting Spurs could buy Bale for $20 million and take a huge loss. What do you guys think?

I just don’t think we were allowed to build up play at all, and the front suffered because of that. Our cb’s were just playing Bob ball and singing long balls left and right. WBA did a great job of marking damn near every player in the middle, and we were too slow moving the ball.

This is such an odd feeling season so far. I have no idea what to make of this team. You could easily argue we are a BS Dier handball vs Newcastle and 10 min collapse vs West Ham from taking 21 out of 24 pts, but some of these games still feel like such a struggle. We also are tied with the highest goal diff, but it still feels like our attack is missing something.

One thing that is obvious though is that this is the deepest squad we have had in a long time and I think it's helping to keep people fresh and available. Dele can't make the bench most games and I rarely disagree with the decision to leave him out. That just shows the strength of the squad (and how much he has fallen off).

Yeah, I don’t know what to make of this team either. We’ve had a pretty easy schedule so far. I think by Christmas we will know what we are. Sadly I think we might be pretenders, and at best a fringe top 4 team.

ETA: at least we aren’t arseanal.

The women's team head coach was fired today.

Which is ironic because Levy also fired Pochettino exactly one year ago today as well.

When is the last time Tottenham have delivered a result in a big match like this? It seems like every time media starts to focus on spurs, entertaining the idea of them making a push, Tottenham buckle under the pressure.

Now I don’t think this is exactly that moment, considering how early in the season it is, but it’s definitely a big game and an opportunity for the squad to show that they are serious. I hope they are able to do just that.
