Sturridge and Milner had two very good looks... should have done better.
Benteke led Milner just a bit too far... amazing how much better you play when you have people in their natural positions..

I hope so, but it's up to Moreno and how well he defends...
I like Gomez, but not at LB.. Ultimately, I'd like him to go on loan, as a CB.. He's only 18 and I'd like to see him get more game time in his future position..

A half of LFC football I enjoyed. We looked like getting back to what we are known for a little bit, Moreno playing excellent and opening up a lot of attacks. Sturidge is rusty, but you can already see his potential to unlock defenses with individual brilliance that we have sorely missed. With time him and benteke should be excellent up front together.

We can't score more than one goal in a game, so this is not ending the way we hoped... Even with the promising spells, simply not good enough still

Disappointing loss, but there are at least positives to take away...
I hope Benteke was just cautionary... and Studge will only get stronger...
In the context of our season, this was a must win... But I think Rodgers got the tactics right this time.. we just blew our chances..
edit: my one bone to pick today is, Coutinho needs to be less greedy sometimes... I know he's gotten better, but he tries to do too much at times...

Spot on about coutinho, starting to think he needs to do it all himself. He was in a good position to shoot most of the times but everyone knows it's coming and he passed up some better opportunities with teammates

really wished he would have laid that ball off to Ings, once he kind of committed the keeper... I know thats asking a lot when you're one on one with the GK... but, damn we needed that...
