Sevilla - 4 shorts on target, 3 goals.
An all too familar stat for us.
Somethings got to change - GK competition is clearly a big part. And I can't think that Karius left a Mainz team he was locked in with without assurance that it was his job to lose ( I don't think Klopp guarantees a starting job to anyone).
Getting the number 1 kit is obviously pretty definitive as well.
Personally, I think Migs has the physical tools - I think mentally, he's a very smart guy, but he also overthinks things and the pressure of playing for a big club has gotten to him and made some of his weaknesses worse. I see him as an example of a larger issue in our squad - mentally weak.

Zielinski's agent said the LFC move is in danger of collapsing. Seems BVB is swooping in for him. This lends some truth to the rumor that Dahoud is the primary target with Zielinski as secondary.

And some beleive that he's just trying to quiet the speculation so that he can concentrate on the Euros and see what kind of deal he can work out with whoever.
Of course, he could also be looking to cash in on a bossman next year and get paid 10m up front as a signing bonus rather than only getting a small portion of the 20m buy this summer. I mean, that would make a certain amount of sense.
Sounds like we are looking at several LBs and several CMs right now.

If the transfer window doesn't officially open until July 1, how did we sign Karius? I'm sure google has the answer, but I trust you deviants more.

Transfer window is a misnomer. Transfers/buy/sells can take place at any time, you just can't register them (or have them play for you) until a registration window (which is what transfer windows really are).
So we could have bought Karius in March, but it would have been awkward for all involved since he would have kept playing for them through the end of the season(risking injury, etc.) and Migs would have known someone was over his shoulder. etc.

I think he can't be officially registered with the country's FA until the official window opens, but all the deals can be done prior..
