How you feeling Byrdman??!!

Dude, I said it a few pages back, but I will say it again... I have NEVER, EVER been so overcome with emotion over a game I have watched OR played in, regardless of sport. I don't know if I will ever witness another match like that in my life. I absolutely LOVE THIS FRICKING CLUB!

I literally said this to my buddy who is a United fan. He tried to sabotage me and posted the final score and highlights on my Facebook wall, but I was on media blackout as well!

Prepare yourselves for this next statement, boys...

Lovren is my favorite Red by far. I liked him when he first got here after watching his interviews and seeing how much it meant to him to play here. Now that he has been through his rough patch and come back to the top of his game, I am over the moon with him.

He's become one of my favorites as well. There is nothing like being proven wrong, and shown to be an impatient a-hole--which I am most guilty of. I remember days when LFC supporters all hated Lucas when he was younger. Even Can has made me out to look like a fool. I hope I've learned to keep myself from posting negative statements regarding our players in the future.

As for Lovren, Can, Sakho, Lallana, and Allen, I love them all. I know that this upcoming window, and in windows to come we will see some shuffling of players, but I'm almost dreading it in a way. Because these guys are just so goddamn likeable. That moment at end last night where Sakho and Lovren had their little bro moment speaking to each other in their own respective languages. What camaraderie! I like our boys.

Just goes to show you, our biggest problem over the last few years was never the players, it was the guy on the sideline... Took a while for me to realize that, but I definitely believe it

I don't know... I don't think there is a single position that cannot be upgraded, with exception to Coutinho, and a healthy Sturridge. I don't think we have the quality to win the league, and major cup tournament. Eventually I would like to be at the point where we can.

Gotta keep life interesting TFTC!

I hate to admit it, but I have to agree with M that there really are only two untouchable players on this team (maybe 3 if Firmino finishes strong). I don't want to see any of these guys leave, if I am being honest. However, I do know that for us to return to Champions League glory, personnel changes HAVEW to be made.

Well yeah, we can upgrade, not saying that, but the guys we thought weren't even top half PL quality are showing they can be

I don't mind the rebuild but in all honesty I think a player that is a must keep is origi. He has sooooo much potential under klopp in my opinion. He's super confident on the ball and is fast to boot. I could see him turning into someone super special under klopp.

Of course we have to upgrade. Klopp is thinking League and CL runs. One thing to remember, Klopp has commented a ton about the amount of matches in England. I think some of the guys you are talking about might still have a part to play going forward. It might not be in the Starting XI for EPL or CL every time but we need quality bodies to run out for the workload. I have said all along though that Klopp is bringing some boys in and he's bringing them in to compete at the highest level.

well, of course... he has to...

Im curious to see if Coutinho sticks around or if a team like Barca come in for him... Iniesta is getting up there and Turan hasn't turned out well for them...

Lucas Allen and Stewart. I hope klopp has a few young guys prepping hard like brannagan.

Hell - when's the last time Lucas and Allen made it through a run of games without injury themselves?

and Stewart isn't registered for Europa...

I wouldn't take any chances with Allen in the league...

So what are you guys thinking for the formation? Sure I want to keep Allen in bubble wrap, but he needs playing time if you're going to use him for Europa. Maybe a half of each game to make sure he's gelling again with the squad. I shudder to think of Lucas shielding the defense against a mobile team like Villarreal. It's a sticky situation. I don't think we have much of a choice other than Allen/Lucas in that two. Unless you want to move to a diamond. Under no circumstances should Milner play centrally.
