Yeah. It is gut wrenching losing a player of technical quality and passion. BUT, he has a few screws loose. We tried to help him and we apparently tried to keep him through this incident. I'm glad we were able to cash in for a respectable fee. I wish him well at Barca, but I am glad the circus has left town.

Spend it wisely. Every target we pursue will take a financial bump because of this. We can pay, and we can overpay for quality, just no more squad players.

Going to miss Suarez but selling him now was probably the right thing to do. Hopefully we spend this money wisely

It's obvious we can't sin a player of his pure quality, but we can hopefully use the money to improve starters at a few different positions. Must do better than Spurs.

Yeah I agree. It is the 3rd incredible striker to leave since I've been a fan and luckily there is always another right around the door.

In and stoked about the return to CL play and the new additions. Sad about Suarez but we all know it had to be done. Lets get some defenders in. T minus 16 days till I go to Chicago to see the Reds play Olympiacos!

The guy is a nut job, but he is a very successful nut job. I will miss watching him score, as well as throw fits.

Hopefully both Lallana and Markovic jump on board and make us forget him.

Man I was just starting to get over my Sanchez disappointment and then this comes through without our having gotten a world class talent yet. Now the mark-up will be harsh.

I know BR is building depth and tactical options for us(not to mention some potential future stars) but geez a world class player to step in immediately and improve our starting XI would be nice considering we just lost a top five player. I mean we don't have to get another top five or ten, but how about a top 50?

Not to lament too much but Sanchez would have been perfect for how we played last season. He'll do outstanding at arsenal unfortunately.

Thanks for the memories luis! Loved watching I play and how I always left it all on the field.

IN! Just bought my jersey for the season on Fanatics.com a few weeks back. Great deals through Monday if anybody is interested. Pumped for the season, even with the loss of Suarez and not landing Sanchez. Lallana was a solid addition and I am hoping to continue last seasons success. In Rodgers I trust haha
