We let this get to page 2 and that's just not acceptable

Gerrard and Carra pick their all-star teams
Carra with some nice digs

Not sure how I feel about Terry and Drogba in the team's though, I guess it will save Torres from being the most booed player LOL.

Yeah he doesn't seem much like a wingback as he's much better defensively than going forward. Very interesting indeed

IMO Flanno's long term future is not at LFC... but, I think he's a serviceable "utility" FB

I'm afraid this is where I'm leaning as well. He's not strong enough as a back 3 and he's not gifted enough going forward as a wingback

I'd definitely keep him because he can play both sides and to keep some scouse blood in the side.
And I have to think at some point we switch to 4 in the back again

It sucks because I like Flanno but we seem to be heading in a direction that he just can't keep up with in terms of talent. Actually that is a really good sign.

I agree on the back 4, but dont think he's anywhere good enough for where we want to go (in any system). I'd happily keep him as a squad player, but my comments about his future were also based around his desire to play on a regular basis (I assume)...

I don't think either one is noted for their offensive abilities.. All I remember from Flanno is the one goal in the drubbing of Tottenham (at LB)... He was also caught out a lot last season as part of our poor defense, but since we were scoring/winning, he avoided the microscope IMO...
Again, I have no problems with him as a squad player, but if he's the level we are shooting for as a starter.. be prepared to finish in that 4-8 level every year...
on another note, I fricking hate this Monday shite... especially since my 5 year run of working from home has ended

I hate it and love it at the same time (for now), because right now I work weekend nights, so I have MOnday and Tuesday off every week so I basically get to watch every game.
