That shot by Can was just magic. And I bet Gini is telling people he caught that cross with his heel and arse on purpose!
Man, i sure hope this is the start of a solid run to end the season!

i am cautiously optimistic... 14 points will likely solidify our top 4 appearance... but games like today HAVE to be won... thought for sure it was going to be a disappointment but they did pull it out... again, we HAVE to win vs. the bottom, which is something we have been terrible at for a while now...

Glad to see us fight through one and get the 3 points.
But damn..they seemed to have more chances in the first 7 minutes than we got in the entire game.
We're still having trouble breaking teams down - Clynne is great defensively and good supporting going forward, but whenever he has to deliver a final ball/pass, its pretty much horrid. Its late, its soft, its completely into the wrong place....not our biggest problem, but ultimately we'll need an upgrade/competition for him. Perhaps TAA will get more time there next year.
He's not as immense as Mane, but damn is Wij becoming a very important part of our team. He can be so smooth in some little passes to get through a midfield.
Can's shot was great - he had a rough up and down game, but the goal makes up for it. I do think he has a long way to go in terms of shielding the back four properly.
Finally - I'm sick of Origi not anticipating anything at all. At least four times yesterday Mane (or someone else at times) headed a long ball on, and Origi waited until they headed it to start moving, which is too late. He's got to anticipate it and start moving ahead of time. Even if they don't get the ball, then he's wasted nothing other than a few steps of acceleration.

Gini's best quality of late is how great the runs are that he makes when he doesn't have the ball. He gets exactly where he needs to be, and the defense doesn't know he even got there until he has a chance on goal.

Spot on. Mane was visibly frustrated after he won a header that if Origi had properly anticipated he could possibly have been through on goal.

It looked like he was trying to back heel it out of the air and put it on face. So he sort of did it on purpose.....

That's one that you laugh about with your buddies and embellish on in the stories you tell your grandkids.
