Supposedly he has a real cheap buyout next summer for like €8m or something. He hasn't had the best year, but a lot of bigger clubs will be in for him.

Gladbach is about try and renew his contract. That buyout may change.

Yeah, I didn't think he would come here in January, but I'd love to see Tah come here, think he'd be a solid option

Seeing Coutinho and Lallana are doubts for tomorrow...
How do yall think we modify the lineup to account for this?
Hendo
Can - Wijnaldum
Mane - Sturridge
Firmino?

I'd imagine something like that... though that front 3 may not be set up exactly like that...

I'm happy for Hendo, as well... I didn't really see him as a #6 (I always assumed it would be Can)
Ain't it amazing how good of a coach Klopp is?
Because, like you, I always assumed that Can would be more suited to be the holding mid and that Hendo would be the one moving forward.
Klopp has them the other way around and, as Can works into better and better condition, it looks like it working BEAUTIFULLY.
P.S. Also maybe Hendo's plantar fasciitis from last year convinced Klopp to give Hendo a job that puts less wear and tear on his feet?

But I found this interesting, if we can pull these signings off, I'd be thrilled:

Out of all those and considering position depth on the squad, I'll take Tah, please.
Also, no idea if there's any validity to this rumor, but would love for Klopp to have Julian Brandt (LINK).

Hendo is leading the EPL in distance covered, with Kante being next...

That's surprising.
You sure? I thought I heard that was Lalana?

Hopefully, we can jump on them early and then get Studge on for Cou..

I'm ready for Sturridge to go.

Nah, if anything Sturridge should have been brought on earlier.

I agree, he looked good... Cou didn't look really sharp today.. got bullied off the ball a lot today... should have brought him on earlier..
Should have won that today.. oh well...

too many wasted opportunities... along with bad breaks and getting pushed off the ball, all fricking day...
glad we didn't lose, but frustrated we didn't win... you could see they were getting more and more frustrated and started pressing, leading to loss of momentum in their attempts to draw the defense off their markings...

Southampton didn't give a damn whether or not they scored today. If they lucked into one on a counter? All well and good. Other than that, they didn't care one little bit.
They just wanted to pack it in and prevent us from scoring. And, even with that, we had three prime opportunities to put it in the net behind the parked bus and didn't come through.
3 points obviously would have been better than 1. But we looked a whole lot better in an away match against a parked bus than we did in August. Also looked better against this parked bus than we did against the Manu parked bus because at least this time we created chances.
I'm cautiously optimistic.
