That mean it is time for a fresh 17/18 Season Long Thread?
IMO - I'd wait until the window officially opens or preseason starts...

Obviously it's very early, but the fixture list doesn't look too bad
A lot of our tougher matches seem to be spaced out for the most part. That all could change though depending on other competitions
Oh and of course we have the 2 day break at the new year...fricking FA

Important early season note
August
12 - Watford (A)
CL PLAY OFF
19 - Crystal Palace (H)
CL PLAY OFF
26 - Arsenal (H)
INT BREAK (short one with quick turn around)
CITY
We have the international break before playing City on the 9th - which means Firmino and Cou may not be up to full speed (and our first CL game I believe a few days later) due to traveling back from SA.
that's a pretty rough start to the year. Two top four interspersed with the CL playoffs and the short International break where two of our best players usually don't seem ready to play immediately from and then jump straight into CL group game.
Welcome to the big leagues - hope we sign 5-6 players to add to our first 18 this year.

Goal.com reporting French and Emglish papers saying that we're going after Aubameyang from Dortmund and Mendy from Monaco.

I DEMAND to know the origin of that photograph!

My guess is last year's Europa game.

Damn. I figured that's what it was, but I was hoping your were dropping some "scoop" thunder.

If we doubled our transfer record for a 28 year old I will eat my own spleen.
I'm fairly sure this is just his agent trying to get PSG to panic a bit and meet contract demands etc.

Our front office better have something big planned for the remainder of the summer, because we look like some fumbledick mother frickers right now. Jesus, we've come off looking like some spastics in this market.
When I first watched Greenstreet Hooligans in college I didn't quite understand why the British hated journos as much as they do. Now, I get it (and I learned about the Sun).

Also, talk starting up again that the pursuit of VVD is not done for this summer... Take it fwiw, but hey maybe it gets done

Salah deal worth up to £39M, performance-based add-ons included.

That's kind of been the sentiment the whole time, even after the apology... I hope it gets done..
