NYCFC fan made crest

America insists on modern marketing NFL type logos. Its a shame.

EDIT: a couple are cool. i.e. Darren Calvert. But I've always liked the look of MCFC's crest.

I think they will put out some info Friday.

I wouldn't say it's a shame. I think they look pretty good. The European clubs do their thing with the classic looking logos, and we have our thing. Those clubs have those logos because they have been around for a really long time. People love to hate new stuff.

ETA that being said, I'm not a MCFC/NYCFC fan, so I don't really care . Just an opinion

I think modern marketing artwork reeks of just that: marketing. To me, when I see it I think of flashy, shiny, new, hip, $$$. Not passion, loyalty, love. I think all teams should stay the conservative route. Otherwise it just seems like the organization is pandering to the dollar.

GC I checked out the link you posted about the research for that round one. Pretty cool stuff.

That one on the bottom isn't too bad but I would use a different looking ship instead of taking one from the Manchester crest. Not a City fan but I do think they have the best colors in the EPL.
