Newcastle United 2012/13 Season Long Thread

The Magpies are looking to continue their resurgence with a few new faces.
Backups Leon Best and Fraser Forester have been sold to Blackburn and Celtic respectively, and the club is looking to raid FC Twenete in the next few weeks for the services of stiker Luuke de Jong, center back Douglas and Lille right back Mathieu Debuchy.
The big question is how will the team's depth hold up with the addition of Europa League competition? Will Cisse be able to continue his remarkable run from last season or will other squads figure him out? Can Alan Pardew keep this team in contention for a Champions League berth with Chelsea likely rebounding from a sub par EPL season? Time will tell but for now at least Newcastle's only club is right back where they belong, in the thick of the Premier League conversations.
