What happened to the one that looked like the bridge and chrysler building.. was definitely the best.

I agree that it's worked in pretty well but I'm still not crazy about it. I was thinking of that one because it's the best otherwise with the cool Chrystler building design.
I didn't realize the crown was from the Queens flag. . . however, it's still a bit too much like Spanish crests to have the crown. . .
It is too bad that the new stadium couldn't be built in Long Island City to get more of a draw from Williamsburg-Greenpoint-Fort Greene areas of Brooklyn.

Yeah, the one with the Chrysler building is pretty solid. The designer went through several iterations and, based on our feedback, made some big time improvements. Here is the evolution of that crest:
This one, we felt the bridge too closely resembled the Golden Gate and didn't have enough character. Also, the sun/ball in the middle just looked like an egg yolk.
For this one, the bridge was improved, but still wasn't "Brooklyn enough" to be identifiable. The change to the sun was a good one.
This one DEFINITELY looked like the Brooklyn Bridge. However, the angles threw the logo out of balance with too much white space on the left.
Significant improvement here. The bridge we easily recognizable.

I love the ones they chose.
What is the deal with the pentagon? Is that some type of significant shape? And I'm just not a huge fan of the buildings/bridges on the logo. I don't really know why,
