Lol, they did both subs I just mentioned

Good news for the Dutch is that Huntelaar will score on those chances RVP and Robben are getting. Guy is simply a top class goal scorer.

RVP less individual play from the wing than Affelay, could feed Huntelaar and VDV on chances.

Robben is playing so poorly, he continually cuts inside and tries to take on 2 defenders. The final 3rd has such poor distribution from the Dutch wings this game.

Looks like Sneijder on left, RvP in Sneijder's role. Was going to suggest that.

I think for the future the Dutch need RVP out wide. Guy is a great distributor and wont try dribbling inside taking on multiple defenders. Plus Huntelaar is good at putting it in the net.

My question is what do the Dutch do with both VDV and Sneijder both out there? One loves to play just behind the strikers, the other not much further back but is a great long ball distributor.

It's like a 4-1-3-2, with Van Bommel just ahead of the backline, Sneijder out wide even with Robben and VDV, and Huntelaar is up top with RVP.

Yeah, Robben's stingy play has ruined plenty of attacks. That and he's only had one chance he's done well with. The shot he hit off the post.

Robben is so fricking one note (not breaking news I know). Its just getting dull.
