Mexico with only 9 players born since 2000, as opposed to USA with 22 (Panama with 16).

Scored an insane goal for LAFC a couple of weeks ago, but I have no idea how he is playing overall.

Brooks, Fossey, and Miazga surprised me a bit. Wouldn’t mind seeing Brooks back in the fold if nothing more than to have him as an option in a 3 man back line.

CCV, Tillman, and Ream are all out due to injury. Aidan Morris is also on Canada’s preliminary roster.

Those two plus Dike being out injured sucks arse. Ream needs a proper national team send off as well, but he's not in the 2026 plans so not as bad not seeing him.

You're more than likely right this time, but it is pretty funny how we've seemed to start the last 3 cycles with "Ream isn't in the plans" only for him to randomly pop up on a WCQ roster.

He has already stated that his goal is to make the roster for Copa America

If we are starting a 38 year old Tim Ream in 2026 he’s either found the fountain of youth or our defense is in shambles. Not hating on him, just saying.

Has Busio or Bryan Reynolds done anything of note this season?

Oh don't get me wrong, he may be retired by the 2026 World Cup, just pointing out how Ream has been in the USMNT system since the 2014 cycle and always begins as an after thought.

Busio is only a 60 minute sub for Venezia at this point. Tessmann has been starting, and having a positive impact, in every game for them. They just made the promotion playoffs after looking like a relegation contender for a large part of the season.

Reynolds has had a solid season but probably not as good as Marlon Fossey. I wonder how many people remember him.
