I know a lot of people have complained about season threads and missing football news. I also know plenty of people on here hate Suarez and I'm certainly not trying to change your mind with this article. Nevertheless, it is well written and offers many perspectives into a professional's life you may be curious about.

Great read. I recommend that non-Liverpool fans read this.

Good article.
Luis Suarez. Regardless of what you think about him, he's still better than Mexican fans.

There's a clear example: the other day they were doing an interview with Usain Bolt and they started playing the American national anthem in the background, so he went silent. That's respect. That's what any normal person would do. But if they whistle me on the pitch when I have the ball that doesn't worry me.

I have no problem with people disliking him on the field. He can, at times, play a very very annoying and frustrating brand of football. But there is no doubt he is misunderstood and he plays the game with the highest level of passion and I will always praise him for that.

I read it and thought it was well written and shows who Suarez really is. I wish Torres had half his passion and drive!

Love the guy... I'm sure I'll follow his career and root for wherever he ends up (if/when he leaves), provided he doesnt pull a Torres... i think his next stop will be out of the EPL...

Probably Spain after he has a break out season with Liverpool (it will eventually happen)

I really do like Suarez. I love his play style and I think when he is on his game he is a top 5 player in the world. Yeah. No seriously. I do. Some of the stuff he does just boggles my mind.
One of the most amazing displays of skill I've ever seen.

Any piece that attempts to paint him in a positive light must have been written by his mother. He may have passion but he has no respect for the game and his actions repeatedly prove it. Liverpool was always the other big English team I didn't mind and respected but until Suarez is gone F them too.
That said, I was on team Suarez against Evra's bitch arse.

Stay calm and don't feed the troll

I guess 99% of the soccer world is a "troll" then because that's pretty much how everyone feels about Suarez and rightly so. Also, could you please try and be a little more original and less douchey, surely you could have come up with something better than "troll".

Nice article, but I still hate him. I guess I'm just like my Uncle Randy.

LOL
You are purposefully trying to evoke an emotional response from Liverpool fans. That is trolling

Do you see the difference between this:
and this:
??
Notice how War enters the thread, says what he thinks and then leaves without trying to start a stupid debate?

I honestly didn't know you guys (Liverpool fans) liked him, he stands for pretty much everything I thought Liverpool was for and respected them for. I would be ashamed if he played for Chelsea. Like I said I was just stating my opinion on him and it's one held pretty universally in the English speaking soccer world but of course since I posted it it's a "troll" post.

Where in my post is there any room for debate? He's a POS on the pitch, everyone knows it, and a article in the Guardian doesn't change it. I actually tried to give your club a compliment.
