re: MLS coach will probably be USMNT coach

I just heard Meola on Counter-Attack on Sirius FC he interviewed a writer for 'The Athletic" who had been at a round table event about the process of hiring a new manager. The writer made it seem like almost a foregone conclusion that Burkhalter would be the guy. Even including a tidbit that his brother is associated with US soccer was moved to a capacity with in US soccer that would supposedly remove him from having any influence on the search. The other good news from the interview is the writer was made to believe that the search was almost over and that a new manager could be named by the next set of friendlies maybe not in time to actually coach but for it to be official. FWIW

I also find it very interesting that Moyes is in attendance tonight.

Pekerman needs to be in charge of US youth setup, give him the bank.

I'd take Gregg Berhalter any day of the week over some frick like David Moyes.

Whoever it is, they must continue with the youth movement

The kids are this teams future, and the now. Let them continue to play.

Wouldn't be a bad pick. Not afraid to play kids, speaks English and Spanish, has done well at Dallas with the team he's been given.

And he kind of looks like Pep!
