It's the main league in a country that is soccer obsessed. They have massive tv deals that MLS couldn't dream of, I'm sure. It will get there eventually but it will take some time.

The teams negotiate their own tv deals for their home games so the big teams like Tigres or Club America can bring in a big amount while a Puebla probably gets a lot less.

Liga MX spends more and pays more. This should come as no surprise to anyone OTB. In terms of supporters, it has to be one of the biggest leagues in the world.
