Im not a Chelsea fan by anymeans, and I really didn't find it intentional nor cynical. He never moved his arm in the direction of Tiote, it was always up in the air...

Please, did you see the challenge 2 minutes before where Tiote threw one into Mikel's head? Mikel went straight up and had his arm up to protect himself-- from Tiote who came flying into his elbow(which would've been Mikel's head had his arm not been up). Unfortunate, yes, but Tiote was in the wrong if anyone was.
Come on man, your a Chelsea fan you should be used to getting abused for your teams dirty play.

Yep. Clearly a deliberate elbow.
Watch again. Mikel's elbow was up before Tiote even left his feet and his elbow never moved. Tiote jumped into it.

I'm listening to the Chelsea broadcast and they said Mikel's action was "obviously unintentional"
I'm sure they did

Yes where it is not supposed to be because of the danger of knocking out another player with an elbow...

Torres was doing very well in the center, and now he gets moved out wide.

Then you would've had head-head contact with Tiote coming in like a bull seeing red.

I have no idea why they won't play them both up top. We have to score anyway, play like you mean it.

No way. Watch it again, I've mostly been joking around but you can't really believe that Mikel didn't know what he was doing can you?

Im just hoping for the draw, but all these stoppages have really ruined Chelsea's momentum.
from 45-57 they were doing well, being the aggressor.
Some questionable moves from Chelsea for sure. Miereles still out there, and not pairing up Torres and Drogba. Drogba is a better target man for the crosses and such, but Torres had a very high work rate in the center.

In other news Bolton are really taking it to Spurs, they are peppering Spurs box. Getting shots and corners.

He obviously had his elbow up on purpose, but it was clearly to protect himself if Tiote came in hard. His elbow never moved and MIkel had much less horizontal movement than Tiote did.
