Christ, that was overdone. No way should it have taken that long if it was a pen or not.

It did, but it hit DA's hand. Even accidents are suppose to be pens now.

Zero excuse to miss that on VAR. Obvious pen.

His ankle is sideways.

I wonder if the tackle did it or running into Aurier. I know nobody wants to see the replay, but I feel like we kind of need to see it to determine the severity.

His hand was above his head when it hit. That's a pen, regardless if it was an accident.

Pretty sure he doesn't break his ankle until he ran into Aurier.

I think that's just a yellow.

The subsequent injury is incredibly unfortunate.

He nicked his foot. 100% a yellow.

If Aurier isn't there then Gomes doesn't break his ankle.

He was mad about the challenge earlier and went in late with his studs up.

That's a yellow?

You're literally the only one with that shitty opinion.

Nicked was the wrong word.
He doesn't catch him with his studs.

Yeah, it's from behind, but we see that challenge in the midfield 3 times a game.

Reds fine by me, I just felt like it was based off the injury more than the actual tackle.

I hate changing managers constantly but Silva needs to go. Way too talented to be this far down in the table, and all they do is play down the wings and then put in hopeful crosses.

ETA: a hopeful cross finally works!
