Yeah nobody is arguing this one after the last view. It was close but the refs boned it.

Was it a reactionary tackle for the perceived foul: 100%
That was pretty effed up on Son's part.
So if you want to red card him for that then go-ahead. I'm really not certain what the laws of the game say in regards to that.
But take away those external factors and the tackle itself deserves a yellow. Hell, Aurier should've gotten the red instead for actually planting his studs into Gomes' ankle.
If Atkinson would have red carded Son initially I really wouldn't have a big problem with it. It's the fact that he thinks the tackle is initially a yellow, then sees that it lead to Gomes breaking his ankle, then goes back and gives Son a red even though his tackle didn't immediately cause the injury.
