Um no he's not. Did you watch him in the Budesliga?
He def played in the back as well as in the midfield. BR is playing him way to far up any way to be a box to box mid and on the wing as well.

He played some box to box in bundesliga as well as LB and CB for Germany u-21s. You can argue all day but yes he's versatile and that's why Brendan bought him. But for now, he's not disciplined enough to play DM. He wanders up field too much

Something like 5 or 6 weeks. And he presses too much getting pulled out of position. We need someone disciplined enough to sit right in front of our CB's to keep shape and organization

Why has he been played so far up or out wide.
When I think of a box to box mid Can doesn't come to mind. At least put him in the holding roll with gerro and see how it goes. If it doesn't work and the back line is still shite stick him back there.
