Maybe they don't mesh well together. Sometimes it just doesn't work.
I think its managing philosophy, all that money you spend and your back line still looks amateur. Not really seeing the upgrade in personnel.

That was always the concern with Lovren. He's just not a RCB. This isn't the first time he and Sakho go up for the same headers.
I am of the opinion that the defense is not going to improve until we get a proper DM. Until then I don't think it matters who we have at the back.
EDIT: oh, and Mignolet is kind of a shite keeper

He def isn't worth 20 million
. You guys might have to just stick Can at DM and see how it goes. Still a head scratcher why BR insist on playing him so far up out of position. He is a defender/defensive mid.
