The songthieves have been quiet for a while.

ETA: As I post, they start up again.

I'm wondering where all this energy form Ozil was the entire match? He's been sprinting his butt off lately, but none of that was there earlier in the match.

3 points for United. Feels good, even playing Cardiff at home you never know these days.

kos actually had a pretty great match. the rest had their issues.

all in all, i guess i'll take a point. not a terrible result. at least we won't be seeing Flamini+Arteta again for awhile.

poldi was fricking pissing me off at the end. came on for 6mins and the motherfricker is out here jogging on D and on counters. Gibbs and Ozil busted their butts multiple times on the break and he couldn't be hassled to break a sweat. that really made me upset.

Oh my sweet lord I'm glad we got a point out of that game. I'd like to see Gibbs starting again, as well as never seeing the Flamini-Arteta double pivot again. Previous seasons this would have been a loss, but thank god for Ozil and Cazorla.

people criticizing ozil today must not have watched the same match as me. he was massive today, particularly in the second half, i thought.

He was excellent in the second half. That was a nightmare of a game. It exposed every weakness we have, notably how difficult it is for Arteta to track midfield runners, and how the Flamini-Arteta axis should be our last resort.
