FCD will always be boom and bust so long as HSG relies almost completely on homegrowns and cheap/low risk high reward signings.

It's very frustrating to be a fan b/c they are usually just good enough to make things interesting but never spend the $$$ for depth or big time talents that would push them over the top.

A guy like Chicharito would be the perfect type to try to eventually bring in but they would never ever spend the money even though he'd put butts in seats and would fit in with what Oscar Pareja wants to do.

The oldest starter in midfield for Dallas was 23. Wow.

I'm sure if he had his way he would be. this whole thing is Pareja's project. one big name would get butts in seats indefinitely because like you said, the competitiveness is already there. and Dallas isn't a sports town, it's a winners town. I think it'll come along eventually. my first match was a Burn game in the cotton bowl

what a run

impressive that Dallas is doing this w/o Diaz and Castillo

usually they suck pretty hard when one or both of those two are out

The other thing that sucks about HSG is that the team may very well have moved or folded had they not come in and bought them.

So we are stuck with owners that don't go for it but are indebted to them for making it possible to even complain that they dont try.

no shite

it's the same with the Stars. I thank god we have Jim Nill at the helm, because ownership has been wanting to move since yesterday

when the time comes, it might be cool to bring an aging Dempsey home for a season
