Most definitely. Case of refs not wanting to call one against the home team late in the game. Shame. Could have won the group for Switzerland.

The Euros have sucked frankly. Also, when has Shaqiri ever looked like a good player? He's just kind of shite.

Eh, it's just been underwhelming. A lot of mediocre teams, a lot of crap games. Looking forward to the next round.

Today was underwhelming, no doubt. But on the whole I've been fairly captivated. Plenty of good stories. And flares. Lots of flares.

Is this a controversial opinion? It's been a bit crap.

Were you just thrilled by:

France 0 Switzerland 0
Albania 1 Romania 0
Portugal 0 Austria 0
Iceland 1 Hungary 1
Italy 1 Sweden 0

I could go on and on. It's been a bit crap compared to previous euros. I've watched everything basically and I'm glad it's there, but it's been underwhelming.

I'm nitpicking but I'd trade the Portugal-Austria 0-0 for Germany-Poland. The Portugal-Austria game was actually quite entertaining even if it was just because Ronaldo couldn't buy a bucket.

And that's also just a few games out of 26 that have been played. I'd say we're still on the side of good.

Ha fair enough.

I mean I watch it all and even the worst game is not that bad, but there have been some snoozers.

And to be fair, I just stopped listing crap games because I'm on my phone and was tired of listing crap games. I could have gone on for awhile.

It's not that it hasn't been worth watching, it's the summer and I love any summer soccer, it's just been underwhelming

I imagine the melt in France over Les Blues is really picking up momentum.

Payet almost saved their arse again. Almost.

With this France side it's win the whole thing or bust

Knowing the French, I guarantee they're melting

Expanding from 16 to 24 was always going to lead to this. Löw mentioned it the other day, teams with 1 point after 2 games can still qualify, the standard has lowered.

I expect a lot of these final games to be better, teams will have to go for the win, before if you lost your first game teams could still be cautious knowing 4 points almost guarantees you qualification as a best placed 3rd team

If it weren't for a lot of these late winners, I would have to agree with you. As it is, I'm not regretting missing a lot of these games like I thought I would be.

I'm still a SKC fan until the end of this season, but how does MLS not have goal line technology yet?
