It was a grind it out type of night

But other than that chance they really didn’t threaten

Shot a bunch of ball into the stands from 18 yards out

Even though I agree with you, I’m bookmarking this for when you roast another one of our teams for a shitty goal-less performance.

José is funny.

Looking forward to seeing him managing Mr. Robson's club one day

United would be in tGOAT without De Gea. He should already have a statue at Old Trafford TBH.

I just watched the ESPN highlights. 10 chances shown. 8 for Sevilla. 2 for United. And one of the United chances was Lukaku's handball.

There were a couple of clear goalmouth chances. Only one I would describe as a clear goal scoring opportunity though, which was Muriel's header. The N'Zonzi header seemed like it was destined for the post, and the Sarabia header was a clear chance that was scuffed. Still the reflexes on that Muriel header were insane. That should have been a goal.

Sevilla only tested him that one time

I think you're forgetting 2 or 3 pretty decent saves.

Pretty routine stuff other than the amazing save

The last five minutes of the first half was shaky tho

Other than that they did what Jose wanted, even then we should have taken our chances. Not a great performance but a result you can’t be mad about in the knockout stages vs a good side.

Rio said it best in the post match coverage. Winning trophies isn’t always pretty.

Beating Chelsea doesn't really mean a lot this year.

De Gea has masked a pretty mediocre team for years now. I feel like that's pretty easy to see.
