Sterling nets another winner in the first few seconds of 96th minute of only 5 given minutes of stoppage.

Lol just saw the goal was scored at 95:03.

You can't be serious with this complaint.

I don't think you know how stoppage time works.....

You thought I was implying match ends then and there...

Pointing out for those following the thread/unable to watch just how late/last second of a winner it was.

lol at that stoppage time

Seemed pretty consistent with how the second half went to be honest. 2 goals, subs, and time wasting.

People seem to think that what the board says is the law. The head referee does not have to stop the game at that number. He can let it go as long as he deems fit. The Bournemouth goal for example.

Better strike:

The outside left foot into the top corner by Sterling that didn't count in the 94'

or

the right footed curler into the top corner by Sterling that did count in the 96'?

I sat here and was like, "well, he did put it in the net in stoppage".

Little did I know that he'd outdo himself.

Winning goal is 2 inches away left or right from not being a goal with how far Forster dove and how close it was to the post, crazy accuracy.

I couldn't watch the game but fans on Twitter are killing him. Saying it was one of the worst performances they've ever seen

The only thing on reddit I saw about him was that he made a pass to the Carabao logo

The game was terrible. Chelsea weren't at their best, but they wasted several great chances to put the game to bed. Swansea never looked threatening at any moment. They had a couple set pieces and a shot or two that were blocked.

Renato was a ghost. Subbed at halftime.

Pep postgame comments regarding the interaction w/ Redmond -

quote:

"I was telling Nathan Redmond how good he is at the end. Southampton have some super talented players, Redmond is so good one against one. But they didn't' want to play, they were time wasting from the ninth minute. I just wanted them to play." - Guardiola to BBC post-match.
