Lol, it was being said even before kickoff... No one is arguing Klopp tried to lose, but prioritizing other things and trying to lose aren't the same thing...

You should really work for Donald Trump with the way you try to spin things so hard

Pretty sure we were saying this before the game.

Different types of accents even within Liverpool. Similar to New Orleans. Peyton and Eli don't sound like typical "New Orleans" accents. Harry Connick Jr. does.

I was upper middle class, a typical "Scouser" is working class. Think John Lennon and Paul McCartney (posh) versus Ringo and George (working class) But nowadays the term can apply lovingly to anyone who hails from Liverpool.

Educate yourself, mate. Cheers.

Yes. The FA cup is a big deal in England. Probably the most popular trophy in England. Considering it’s the oldest tournament in England and contested by over 700 teams in ten levels of leagues. It’s is followed by almost everyone in England rooting for their local side . Compared to the premier league with only 20 teams contesting for the EPL league title And only four English teams contesting for the champions league. Add to that Liverpool had a chance to make a run for the treble, a feat only 8 European teams have accomplished. One being there rival ManU. And one of the few feats Liverpool haven’t accomplished. So yes it was a very big deal. However Liverpool has a number of injuries which some feared would lead to a lose so the downplaying if importance has been going on since well before kick off. In part to dampen the pain if the feared loss did happen. But yes it was a big deal. How many chances do you get to make a run at the treble.

Congratulations on living in England. I think most of us here had forgotten all about that.
