I didn't say it wasn't. It isn't a big deal here, and it isn't a big deal to our manager. To say otherwise is fricking naive. This has nothing to do with downplaying because of a loss, we all would've told you the same thing beforehand. You're romanticizing a competition that isn't as important as you want it so desperately to be. Congratulations on living in England. I think most of us here had forgotten all about that.

People like to win. Sure, it would've been nice to advance if I knew we could compete on all 3 fronts. We don't have the squad depth. We're down to 1 healthy center back at the moment. 1 fricking center back. Forgive me if i'm okay with Klopp bowing out of a domestic cup competition in the middle of a title race with our injury situation. God damn you are dense sometimes

I think you have to find the right blend of seasoned players and academy grads
Liverpool the last few years has been slacking in the with their academy compared to others but its getting better when seeing guys like TAA and Wilson.
