It's going to take a good 2+ full seasons for Amorim to implement his system correctly
Genuine quality managers adapt to what they have. 5+ transfer windows to get his system close to in place is a joke.

I’m fine if the Board wants to keep him for another season to show future candidates they have at least 1 full season before they’re kicked to the curb, but he personally has shown nothing to warrant sticking around. Any other top club he’d be gone

Well thank the lord you aren’t making decisions. He was forced to come in mid season and take an already poor team to completely switch to a back three system with wingbacks and attacking midfielders instead of wingers. We don’t have those types of players.

There’s a reason he wanted to wait til the summer to take the job, but United told him now or never. It was an impossible job. Not to mention we quite literally don’t have a premier league front three it’s championship at best minus Diallo. Hojlund is the worst striker we’ve ever had, Garnacho has the decision making skills of a u-10, and Obi is a child. Diallo and Bruno are our only goal threats.

We chalked the season the moment we fired ETH and strictly focused on European football, oh which btw Amorim has United as the only undefeated team in Europe. Give him a chance. I repeat changing the manager after 1 year will fix nothing, you can bookmark this that we will be even worse off if that happens.

We still can’t break teams down

Spurs playing 10 behind the ball was definitely the right tactics

I’m glad I’m not a Spurs fan. Imagine crying after winning a Europa League.

Not the reason for the loss but the referee was awful. How the frick do United have 4 yellow cards on 10 fouls while Spurs have 3 on 22 fouls?

If we’re overhauling the team to meet a manager’s very specific vision, it needs to be one who’s earned it

Absolutely nothing this year from him is indicative of a good manager. Those two words are simply not compatible with a team staring 17th in the league in the face, with the worst point total in club history secured

He’s not the guy. There’s no reason to continue down this path when it’s so blatantly evident. It’s silly pretending this is an Arteta situation that will resolve itself with time. Sorry

Homeboy doesn’t remember United contending for 16th/17th - can you help point me to when that was a thing?

So you are blaming a manager who played an entirely different system than ETH. Did you miss the board buying 200 million bucks of ETH system players this summer, we then sack that manager. Same board forces Amorim to take the job in December when he wants to wait til the summer because he can't implement his system mid season. Now he is forced to play a 343 with wingbacks and attacking midfielders. We have wingers and fullbacks. It was a throw away season the minute they fired ETH. Amorim is literally having to fit square pegs in round holes.

Now with losing the europa we have no UCL, no +100 million on our accounts. So we wont be able to sign that many new players. It's going to be a LONG shitty process. The sooner you realize that changing the manager wont solve the problem the better off you'll be.

Is it not possible for both to be shite at the same time or something?

Doesn’t mean that the present manager - the worst and least accomplished of the 4 by far - deserves to be in his post a minute longer. Certainly not worthy of full organizational backing
