I don't think Onana plays for us again, I genuinely believe that. As much as the talk has been about Amorim, there is no way Onana survives that. Unfortunately, Bayindir has a major weak link in his game and will be exploited and from what I understand, Lammens isn't the strongest in that area either. I haven't done any research on that myself, just something I've heard. In any case, I really would not want to put that amount of pressure on him at this point in time because it's going to be massive.

Trot Heaton out there this weekend and maybe he can be a bridge for us if we do get Lammens so we aren't expecting the world out of a young new keeper.

Erik Ten Hag should be prosecuted for crimes against football for selling De Gea for Onana. It's been that bad. His distribution sucks, long balls suck, can't punch crosses(just straight up misses the ball), palms his saves directly into danger.

For some reason he doesn't want to give Heaton game time, I'm fairly confident he could put a shift in as well.

Mainoo wants loan move. I'm hesitant to share how I feel about the news.

Clear strong arm tactic, you’re going to tell me Betis weren’t aware of his wage demands after literally spending the entire summer in Seville

United will crumble and accept or meet them halfway, watch. We are incapable of not getting skinned on deals.

To be fair, we never had a chance for fair deals with these clowns. It will be the same thing with Rashford next summer.

I'm just laughing because the sentiment has been generally positive towards Antony because he actually tried while here and did well on his loan spell. Now he basically gave us the middle finger and said "pay me". frick him, make him sit in rainy Manchester and deal with that horrible depression he couldn't wait to leave from (and couldn't stop talking about) if he wants the money. Enjoy the wet winter ya bitch.

But we know there will be some compromise and he will get what he wants. It's sad. No more huge wages and stupid deals will fix the problem though so I guess we are heading in the right direction.

Yep the hits just keep on coming.

Amad is a liability. We need way better from that position and he gives the ball away far too often and easily. Just ruined a great counter chance as I'm typing this.

ETA aaaaand he misses a sitter.

It makes me feel better. We aren't going to suddenly get to champions league form with the squad we have. We need too many upgrades.

Just win baby.

Treating a home win over just promoted/soon to be relegated Burnley like winning the Champions League Final is not the mark of a good club.

I'm curious what happened with the Antony wage problem. But in any case, good riddance.

Well after the dust has settled, I think this was a good but not great window which is still better than most of us would have believed possible heading into it. Other than the timing of the deals sans Cunha being late, we brought in players that should undoubtedly raise the floor of this squad. I still believe a midfielder should have been prioritized over both striker and second number 10 but I'm not going to be mad about who we got in.

Having said that, Ruben is going to have to tactically supplement the midfield now, especially away from Old Trafford. We need to make it easier for the team to be harder to play against and I think that's going to be on Amorim and the staff. We can't rely on the current squad to maintain their heads for 90 minutes when they are not able to feed off the energy of the home crowd. It's not ideal and I know he doesn't want to bend but we have the break to figure it out.

Was Martinez the better move at GK? I'm torn between spending more for him vs Lammens because I don't think we see Lammens starting any time soon. In a vacuum, I personally go with Martinez but I guess we will see.

6.5/10 window. Great signings and sales but not enough and most came later than ideal. No midfielders is also a knock.
