Just about 1.5 weeks out from the close of the transfer window and we haven’t been able to move Malacia, Antony, Sancho or Garnacho.

It's no surprise. All United are going to get are low ball offers until the eleventh hour, where we MIGHT get something fair. We have no leverage.

Has United had a single good sale over the last 3-4 years? Was McTominay the best deal they've made?

McTominay and Elanga are probably the the two best in recent memory.

Would have been nice to have gotten 70M for Garnacho during the winter window.

Ornstein and Romano both reporting that United are advancing in talks with Antwerp keeper Senne Lammens, Antwerp looking for around 20 mil euros. Personal terms have been agreed, just waiting on the fee to be agreed.

One of the best young keepers in europe, he led europe in saves & xG prevented last season.

Chelsea offer like £30-£35 million for Garnacho but want £90+ for Jackson

Chelsea sold us a broken injured Mount for 65 million, they can pay the 60 million garnacho is worth just off potential alone or take a fricking hike.

Chelsea can eat shite in general. I wouldn't take less than a premium for anyone from Chelsea, regardless of our situation.

But yeah, they can low ball us for Garnacho and dangle Jackson for $100M but neither of those deals are going to happen so frick them for wasting everybody's time. The only way they get Garnacho for less than 50M quid is with an enormous sell on fee IMO.

Bruno completely sold today. Lost his head because a ref touched him, whined the rest of the game and missed a penalty. Bruno in a 2 man midfield might be the downfall of Amorim.

TYFYS Bruno but if you are going to whine about a ref not apologizing after inadvertently bumping you on your penalty routine, I can't defend that weak mentality any longer. I love the fire and passion and appreciate how he is an incredible player with an insane injury record but he is not what United needs going forward.

If we don't have a top class 6 next to him, our midfield just doesn't work. Now Mainoo can't play because Bruno is never going to be subbed.

Antony back to Betis (sounds permanent) and Mainoo hands in a transfer request.

Theres no reason why they should hesitate to ship out anyone thats been with the team from last year.

High wages and no results is the worst position to be in and they need a complete culture overhaul at the roster level.

If Mainoo leaves because we gave preference to a 30+ year old Bruno Fernandes. That might be my breaking point.

At this point in time Mainoo has not put in a request, just said he would be open to a move if the right suitor came along before the window closes.

Having said that, the contract saga and play time situation do not look favorable to keeping him around past 2027. This will be a huge factor in the perception of Amorim...he needs to get this right.

Mainoo drama ratcheted up to 11 today!

Laurie Whitwell was on Paddock yesterday and didn't really have anything say but this morning drops a whole bunch of BS that's got everybody pissed off. I read a comment that said breaking the "academy streak" would be worse than placing 15th.

Now it's Mainoo vs Amorim. The journo shite stirring cycle continues.

Only thing with Mainoo I will say is, he’s been pulling some strings behind the scenes. At least his agent has, if you remember it started when ETH was still here. He came out and said he wouldn’t sign a new contract with United (apparently wanted to be paid what the other marquee players were). Then he sustained a couple more injuries and they realized it probably wasn’t a realistic grab.

Now with this fiasco it’s the perfect storm for him to finally leave. Paired with the fact that we haven’t sold a single player this summer, while the club has been saying “WE MUST SELL TO BUY.” They’ll sell Mainoo in the next few days I bet.

Yep there's been a lot of talk about numbers but the bottom line is he hasn't signed what's been put in front of him. If he wants 180k a week...just no. That's the kind of bad business that put us in this shite hole.

Mainoo is a good, young player but if there wasn't this focus on keeping the academy players streak intact, nobody would care about us selling a 20 year old who doesn't fit our system and doesn't want to sign a fair contract. The inconvenient truth is that to properly back Amorim, we need 2 midfielders that can run with the ball and cover the middle third of the pitch seamlessly. Neither Bruno or Mainoo fit. My only complaint is that this should have been handled already, backlash be damned.

I am all in on Amorim but we need to start winning TODAY. If that means we have to be ruthless, so be it. Bruno and Mainoo can go and it won't bother me if we get players that help us win.

Thats my only criticism of Amorim he begged Bruno to stay when Al Hilal came in early this summer apparently. Everyone has known he cant play in a two.
