Seems like great time for "post Christmas" City to kick in a little early

Ugh. Really thought going to Villa would result in points. Nope.

Haaland hitting the robot not on my bingo card but was hilarious and I’ll take any goal celebration.

Also: Nice to see a goal by someone other than Haaland.

Son Doku, earth's mightiest warrior, was looking like Ronaldinho out there today. What a performance

What an arse kicking
Guys are looking good - still need more secondary scoring but can’t remember the last time we outplayed Liverpool this badly

Didn’t see the match today. Seems there was some controversy about the winner?

I blame this loss squarely on the international break. Most of the blues were out on Int’l duty. How many Geordies were? I could be wrong.

City were in good form until this break.

You didn’t miss much. Totally predictable and you’re right, it’s always tough immediately after the international break. Will have to see what they look like tomorrow to make sure it’s not a trend.

I see glimmers of hope; followed by games like this one. They need a bit more time to gel I think. When the feed it to Haaland thing works; it works. When it doesn’t; it just doesn’t. Feels like we live and die by him. Someone should put Foden’s image on the milk boxes in Manchester. Hasn’t been seen in over a year. Not sold on Savinho either. I will say the new keeper is clutch. I personally believe we’re too far out to catch Arsenal now. We’d need them to have a Liverpool like fall. I don’t think we can consistently score enough to win the Champions League. At this point the only trophies I think are reasonably achievable are the FA and EFL.

Watching City this year is as excruciating as watching LSU.

You really shouldn’t besmirch the Stockport Messi like that

Jesus. What a shite show against Fulham. Up 5-1 and had to literally run the clock out to get all 3 points. Wtf is happening.

Arsenal lost this morning so can pick up some ground if they choose to actually play well. Some weird results and scorelines lately..

We back baby! I swear for like 4 seconds I thought Wolves were gonna help out. Then I remembered….they’re Wolverhampton.

Very good result today considering the opponent - very good mental fortitude from the team as Palace drove most of the play
This could be a week of results to drive them forward

And, oh by the way, beating RM midweek was no small thing.

The way City played against CP, they should have lost by 2 or 3 goals. Gigi was the difference today. Some great saves and punches.
