Bad news: Laporte out for five or six months.

Good news: I'm reading rumors that after Christmas Pep and City will be announcing Pep's extension through 2026.

Bad news: Source is totally random guy on Twitter.

With Laporte out I feel like this is Stones' time to shine. If he can't handle it these next couple months I think we move on. I love Stones but he has had fitness issues since he's been here. We already need another CB so this will just decide if we go for a backup or a bona fide starter.

The really good news is Kev is fricking back and in top form. Fully fit Kun, Raz, Merlin, Bilva, Mahrez, KDB? JIMP

I had a gut feeling pregame about this happening. Norwich is a solid squad. In saying that, we played like crap and our injuries are starting to show their importance. Laporte/Sane and can we woo Vinnie to come home? He is needed. We have severe problems defending set pieces and for some reason cannot put the ball in the net. Not hitting the panic button at all yet bc it’s too soon but this team isn’t playing like we are used to seeing. Pep, it’s time to earn that money bro.

Foden didn’t make the trip to the Ukraine.....supposedly not ‘fit’.

Like 75% of our attack was Zinchenko doing a Navas impression trying to cross into the box.

Like clockwork.

Stones can't stay healthy for shite. Guess we'll see Garcia now. Straight into the fryer.

I'm done with Stones. He had a good little spell a few years ago, then lost form, and now can't even get on the field.

Need to buy 3 CBs in January, probably not even going to be good and going to cost $$$$$$$ since everybody knows the desperation.

Garcia and Harwood-Bellis both need to get a chance. I’m sure they just plug Fernandinho in instead.

supposedly we were looking at Ake over the summer, which would have been a solid buy. Would've given us Laporte, Stones (can't stay fit), and Ota (rumored to have been on the way out) plus Ake. He could rotate in this year and if Stones flopped again or if Ota left, he's CB2 next year.

But we didn't.

Pep says they're going to be used so we'll see. If we start Garcia on the road against Shakhtar we might need to have Dinho in. I like Rodri so far but Dinho is about as lock down as they get.

Those five attacking players are ridiculous. I'm confident with Fernandinho back there.
