I'm just praying Aguero's injury isn't serious.

And Silva and Sterling. I'll feel better if they're back for Juve.
We need Kun though. Didn't look bad. He was walking. Just seemed like he got the shite kicked out of his knee. Bruise maybe.

Aguero just tweeted that the injury doesn't appear to be serious, so that's good at least.
Was anyone else really impressed with De Bruyne today?

He played out wide a lot today and was very effective so I feel better about playing him "out of position."

The sterling/silva/kdb trio is going to be devastating with their ability to seamlessly play all three am positions.
I loved a lot of what I saw from kdb. He has Suarez's unpredictability with a Silva like skill set. He's going to be well worth the price tag.

I wouldn't go that far, but he looked good.
I loved how bulldogish he was. He was flying everywhere trying to get the ball. On ball, he looked pretty solid as well. Had some solid passes and his reactions were great. He looked pretty solid to me, even moreso when you consider he hasn't really been in training with the team much at all.

As you see him more, you'll see what I mean. I'm in no way saying he is on either of their level, but he brings those attributes into one package.

From what I saw, KDB just looks like he does everything effortlessly. He's a joy to watch.

hey bro you don't live in Nova anymore??
Nope. We wanted to upgrade from our townhouse in Falls Church and didn't want to spend $1.3M to do so. I took a job in Raleigh - Durham and we moved to Chapel Hill this summer and love it so far.

Good. He will only be out three weeks.

Super impressed with De Bruyne today coming in on short notice.
Equally disappointed in Navas' open net 'finish.' It really just shows how little confidence he has. Hope that's KdB's spot soon.

Then you'll enjoy this.
He looked good for a guy with only a couple days training with the squad. He was a bulldog all over the field seeking the ball and created 5 chances with 47/56 passing. That's pretty solid. His ball to Navas was brilliant until...

Yeah that was bad. He already looks like a lost dog when he has possession with pressure, but WOW that was bad. KDB put the steak on a plate and he slid it onto the table trying to cut it. shite finish and sums up why we got KDB to replace him.
Regardless, CHAMPION'S LEAGUE IS UPON US!!!!
I figure/pray we'll go back the the 4-2-3-1, especially with Kun out. Squad hasn't been released yet but I expect to see what we saw the first 4 games for the most part.
Bony
Sterling-Silva-Navas
Dinho-Yaya
Kolarov-Mangala-Kompany-Sagna
Hart
Wouldn't be surprised to see Nasri start in Silva's place though. With a team like Juventus, we'll need a solid target man and HOPEFULLY Bony can deliver that, because he hasn't since he landed in Manchester.
Sucks 3 HUGE players are injury problems right now but if nothing else we've looked great and Juventus is in bad form and Marchisio is out as well. Getting three is realistic and it would be a great way to kick off the tourney.

Apparently Patrick Roberts scored a 'wonder goal' in the U-19 Champions League tie against Juventus today. If I find the video I'll post a link.

Up 2-1. Apparently Juventus are down to 9 men.

Kun on the bench.
Kinda surprised to see Nasri on instead of Navas. Figured if he came into the lineup it would be for Silva or sterling. Guess they're back to near 100%.
