Top class players cost a lot. If you're interested in winning the CL you don't buy average or competent players.

Yikes, Liverpool fans saying it’s ‘God’s work’ De Bruyne’s injured on Twitter.

I guess Twitter shouldn’t surprise me lol.

Probably the best time for this to happen tbh. If he is only out for 2 months he’ll miss this soft stretch we have coming up, a couple of UCL games and probably the Liverpool away fixture which we wouldn’t win regardless.

Hopefully the injury isn’t worse than two-three months.

And thank God we got Mahrez to strengthen up the depth on the wings so now Bernardo can fill in, in the middle with Ilkay and Foden as cover.

I haven’t heard any mention of David Silva.

He wasn’t in the 18 last weekend.

Is he injured?

David had a knock last weekend but is supposedly good to play now.

Please only be two or three months. Hopefully we can run through this stretch of games and he gets right and comes back stronger. It's hard to envision a positive scenario when you lose the best player in the world, but we are at least given the benefit of a run of easier opponents.

It was probably Roy Keane's fault.
I'm not sure how, but that's who I'm blaming.

I love the news being somewhat pushed to the side today is the Spurs match not having a venue.

Rumors that if Spurs don’t figure it out they could have to forfeit, but that is worst case scenario, but would happen before the fixture is moved to later in the season.

I"ve seen a bunch of rumors that have him back after the international break in October, which is exactly what you said earlier.

He'd miss:

Newcastle at home
Fulham at home
UCL match day 1
Cardiff City away
Brighton & Hove Albion at home
UCL match day 2
Liverpool away

Not a terrible run of games to miss, so let's hope that this is the extent of his absence.
