I´m not seeing serious or football only sites confirming the Özil to Arsenal sale.

ETA His approval rating at RM is through the roof, and always has been. Nobody´s going to cry or protest, it will be taken as a business decision, but I haz a sad.

I would bet that most Madrid fans would be upset to see Ozil go. I may be biased but I'd rather have Ozil than Bale in my team and you're right. Tottenham should have tried to get a 50m plus Ozil. Would have stacked Tottenham insanely.

Arsenal in advanced talks to sign Ozil from Real Madrid. Other deals being worked on, including Palermo GK Viviano #bbcfootball #afc #rmfc

Ozil is perfect for Arsenal. He can play behind the striker and have no defensive responsibilities. Walcott, if healthy all season, is going to score a ton of goals.

inquiring about demba Ba as well.. I wouldn't mind him as a backup I guess.

Mesut hands out assists in his sleep. Giroud is furiously masturbating right now.

I'm not sure we need a striker. Giroud has been damn good. Ozil is the best in the world at what he does. How many through balls will Walcott see?

Got back from the lake a few hours ago, missed a lot this weekend soccer-wise. Luckily Chelsea didn't play, but I didn't get to see the Sporting KC game.
Benny Feilhaber did have a great goal though, I could watch it all day.

Mesut is a very elegant and pleasing footballer to watch. He will be sorely missed.
I get now what Ancelotti´s going after, and it sucks for Özil.
I think Isco has bowled Carletto over, I really do. He plays like a coach on the field, but with Zidane-esque talent. It is hardcore porn, en toda regla.
Modric is a proud little SOB as well. I didn´t expect this from him, and am really pleasantly surprised.
Xabi, Illarramendi, probably latching on to Kondogbia next summer, things are looking good a priori.
I am waiting for more Falcao news (December arrival, I´m sure).

I'm fine with Giroud as our first choice, I just want a better backup than Sanogo.

However many he wants. Really, if Wenger gives him freedom to dictate the offense, Arsenal can score a ton of goals.

I think that is the plan. Ozil and Cazorla give us two really creative players. Walcott's pace and Ozil's vision equals soccer porn.
ETA: going to walk my beast. I'll be back to talk about this all night long.

Santi´s smart, but if you ask him to strategically defend at all times, he´s going to get injured.
Rosicky, is a crapshoot. When will he get hurt again?
The others, to me are super ´meh´. I don´t get the hulabaloo, other than they´re fast as hell, and they don´t rape the ball with their feet.

Our defense is actually quite good.

We won't. Ramsey and when Arteta get back we won't have an issue.

True, isn't that what they say about RVP?

I have become a Walcott believer, he's really improved and is a good fit in Arsenal's system, where he's a hybrid right winger/striker. He'll love Ozil's through balls.
Ramsey has improved tremendously. He's a really good player. The hype has always been about Wilshere, but at this point I'd take Ramsey.
Arsenal are pretty good. Add Ozil, get Arteta healthy, continue having Giroud play well, etc. I think they're right there for winning the league (assuming the Ozil thing happens) for the first time in a while. Part of that is the manager turnover at other clubs, and more specifically how mediocre United look. Wellbeck>Kagawa ftw.

Kos is the best center back in the epl besides Kompany, and Per complements him perfectly. Our 4 outside backs are also up there with the best in the league as a stable. We can play Cazorla on the wing and pair Ozil in the middle with some combination of Ramsey/Wilshere/Arteta, That'll be fine defensively

I must be a nega-cannon. Mertesacker (sp) doesn´t inspire season long confidence, IMHO.
