Who is in your opinion? You've seen how much worse man city's entire team is without him in the lineup. As for kos, since the 2nd leg of the bayern game last year I don't know if its possible for a CB to play better than Kos, not to mention he's scored the goal that got us into the CL two years in a row.

It´s like when all you prem punters were touting Vidic, and I remember him getting his waist ´twisted´ by whom I cannot remember now, possibly Torres, and he looked absolutely foolish. Not to say he´s not good, but one faux pas like that, and one is marked.
ETA Jap Stamm was another. Walter Samuel came to RM all highly touted, etc...., and he got abused continually in La Liga. Cannavaro was another.

Fair enough. My original comment was throwaway I was just making a point that our D is stout enough to survive a weakling at CAM. I think with soccer players you have to go by tiers, and Kos, Agger, Vertongen, and Kompany are all in the first tier

It was Torres. Vidic has always been atrocious against Liverpool. Most reds by and player against a single team I believe. Today he was as tame as I've ever seen him.

No, I used him as an example because he's a universally accepted top CB.

I wish there was a way to fit CR7, Ozil, Bale, Isco, and Modric or Xabi Alonso all into the same system at the same time. Put Falcao up front in December and watch the most beautiful game.

I really think Ancelotti is taken aback with Isco, and rethinking.
I don´t think anyone thought he was as ready as he is, to run a side, let alone Carletto.
With Bale, I think the logical, and possibly impossible striker for RM, is Lewandowski. Moreso than Falcao. Suárez has serious shortcomings in the system I think Ancelotti now has in mind.
I truly think Cristiano is redundant, and he knows it, that´s why he´s being so generous on the pitch, as he sees the raw material for La Décima.
I really don´t know what is going to happen.

I think Falcao could fit well. He seems versatile enough to mold into enough systems.
Bale, Ronaldo, Isco, and Ozil are so good that I feel they all need to be on the pitch.
Ancelotti needs to rethink his system and apply to these four guys IMO.
Play CR7 and Gareth on the wings. Ozil and Isco need to figure who will play the 10 and who can maybe drop or something. It is certainly a good problem to have. At the same time, can all work together (assuming Ozil drops the shite about Bale's salary).
Could a 4-1-4-1 even be realistic with this ensemble?
