It's what they do.

Just watched the replay. Begovic did a great job of downplaying how fantastic we really were in attack. There was one shot by Sturridge that I thought was just a prayer from an impossible angle. However, on the slow motion replay, not only did Daniel put it on face, but it was traveling upper 90 from an angle that was almost hopeless to shoot from for any mere mortal.
After watching the full 90 again I'm really excited about our attack this year. An average EPL keeper between those sticks would let in at least 4, and that's honestly being conservative.

After watching again, Aspas did play better than I remember. There were a few poor touches in there, but he was very creative for the most part. I must've just been high on the adrenaline
Minus some of the finishing, Henderson did real well. I can see for the most part of the season, our front 4 will likely be Sturridge, Coutinho, Aspas, and Suarez when he gets back, but I won't feel uneasy to see Henderson come on especially against some of the more physical sides.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if our core can stay healthy, we have a legit shot for fourth. But bringing in an extra piece or two wouldn't hurt.

That back heel to Hendo's curling shot that hit the post gave me an erection.

After the rewatch, I'm starting to believe. Another decent signing and I'll be a believer.

I thought Aspas was good... I think he struggled a little bit with the physicality and what the refs let go on...
I'm sure he'll adjust..

Sturridge's instagram:
Love the hashtags. His "me first" attitude seems to be completely gone now.

I like that... I believe he is really ready to take that next step in his career and be a 20+ goal/yr striker and England's #9...
I was just reading this piece on him
I go back and forth on the subject, but as much as I enjoy Suarez's play from an individual aspect, we may be better off in the long run cashing in and buying 2-3 quality players...

Eh, I'd rather the player. We have the money to keep him and still buy.

But we need to buy first instead of trying to completely emulate Arsenal.

I'm not opposed, but I also want a player that wants to be here. If we can get Willian and another player or two, i feel we can compete for top 4.
I am assuming qualifying will change his mind about wanting to leave next season.
I'd be interested to see how BR will play them together, since he played them both up top last year or Suarez slightly behind Sturridge...
playing Suarez out wide is a waste IMO, but so is playing DS out there... I know the front three all float and are interchangeable so...
I just have my fingers crossed about Willian, because it would allow Cou to move to the #10 and well, Willian is a great player...

I think this is one thing that hasn't really mattered all that much. Sturridge and Suarez both don't mind drifting out wide to find space and get the ball. The biggest thing is for them to have the chemistry and understanding when and how to space. That's another reason I like Henderson, because he's usually good at finding those open spaces when things can get a little crowded.

yeah, I meant soley as a wide player or as a RAM... I was kinda thinking out loud on my last post. He generally allows them to interchange...
BR isnt stupid, he knows Suarez is at his best when he is given freedom...
I like Hendo a lot and was hoping he would have finished that chance on Sat. I have a feeling, if we get a new LW, he may relegated to the bench.. He definitely has a place in the team and you gotta love his attitude and work ethic... the new Kuyt to a degree..

He's perfect on the bench because he can literally come on and play almost anywhere on the pitch. He's physical, athletic, smart, and can run for days. He'll be a very good one in the future.

According to ESPN Willian has told close friends & Lucas Leiva the he will be joining LfC. Don't have a link, so take it with a grain of salt. Someone I know claimed to have seen it in a tweet or facebook or something.
