Where to, though? Most of the UCL clubs that could afford him don't need a striker. RM would be a possibility, but it's conceivable he rots until January.
RM would be first choice obviously, but offering at a discounted rate, some one will bite, because he's arguably one of the better strikers on the market from this summer. He wouldn't be happy, but he only made things worse for himself, because he's still on contract for another 3 years, and during a world cup year so he doesn't have as much say as he thought he did.

Y'all seriously think Chelsea would buy him?
Not really, but it's not like they're short on cash. Not to mention, we've already seen Roman do whatever the hell he wants regardless of what the manager thinks (although that dynamic does change a bit with Jose). Nonetheless, nothing he ever does will surprise me.

I don't, it was just a hypothetical. I would sell to Chelsea or City (not United for obvious reasons) for what Arsenal have offered.
Hell, I'd sell to RM for £30m at this point.

And now Suarez has told Marca...
"I'm still defending the Liverpool shirt, and I will do so until the last minute. It's not that I'm desperate to leave."

This is from the official BWFC twitter account:
Jay Spearing is set to undergo a medical this afternoon after #BWFC and Liverpool agreed a deal for his transfer.

He knows that it isnt a given that he will leave and he's trying to save face...
Don't get me wrong, I think he really appreciates the club and the supporters and everything theyve done... however, his level of what he owes us differs from the club...

For LFC supporters... Is there anything Luis can do now to get back in your good graces?

i had a fairly long response on my phone but instead of posting twice, it didn't post at all. sprint has worn me down. i will admit defeat and accept my punishment (hopefully by firing squad so i don't have to use my phone again)
the tl;dr version is i think suarez wanted to leave after the season (Real first, CL club second) and we were the only saps interested in what his camp was selling/leaking to the press whereas you all seem to think he had no interest in anyone but Real until our 35m bid was leaked, then his mind was changed.
anyways, i hope we have a backup option, because we aren't going to get him. i admire 'Pool doing what we didn't last summer.

I don't think he will be with LFC but if he does and keeps his head down, plays his arse off all season without some incident or suspension and we finish top 4, I think most people forgive him.
Unfortunately for him, I don't think anyone would forget it and he would always be one comment or incident from everything blowing up all over again.

kinda similar to Tevez last year??
I'm a softy, so I could probably forgive him if he fires Pere and that team, admits he was led astray and kisses the badge in front of the Kop... also, 20 + goals will help the healing...

Wasn't there a big hullabaloo about Rooney and Man city a couple years back? I don't remember the specifics. But he was accepted back.
Luis just needs to shut up play hard and be so good that someone is willing to drop the dough in the winter window.
He plays hard shuts his mouth and scores goals it will be okay

yeah, there was a lot of strong feelings when Stevie flirted with Chelsea... He won everyone back..
I realize two totally different situations, but Stevie would have probably been treated like Owen if he had transferred...
