I really hope RM fails with their pursuit of Bale... it could help us on two fronts.
They could turn to LS and we can be done with him... and he goes to another league
THFC still keeps bale... IMO, they would strengthen if they could sell and buy 4-5 quality players with that £

For LFC supporters... Is there anything Luis can do now to get back in your good graces?
He plays.
I support LFC, not Suarez. I love LFC, not Suarez.
Suarez can play for himself if he wants to. He can hate the club with every cell in his body if he wants to. But as long as his goals count for Liverpool, I could care less about the reasons he is playing or what he thinks of the club.
Bottom line is I care more about winning than I care what Luis Suarez is saying.

I agree with this completely. While we have been caught up in the Luis Suarez hullaboo Spur have bought Chadili, Paulinho and Soldado. They are also about to get Capoue and are interested in Willian. Do people realize how insane that team is going to be in the midfield with Paulinho, Capoue, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon, Parker, Bale, Holtby and Sigurdsson as midfield options?

If/when we achieve CL, we can be picky over the players we have. Until then I don't think we can afford to pick and choose what players play for us based on commitment/personality. Just my opinion.

He gets back in my good graces just as Beast says. If he gets out there and plays his arse off then it is what it is. I'm sure i'll always be more wary of him now (mainly because I think he tried to subvert the club's interests), and probably wont ever love him as I did before, but once those goals hit the back of the net I'll be willing to turn a blind eye.

Yup. I'll play his sorry arse day in day out if that's what takes us back to CL. But if I were in BR place I would fine him wages and put him in the reserves for a while.

Let's not forget that he has scored 50+ goals for us in less than 100 appearances, all during a stretch of form most LFC fans want to forget. And he worked his arse off scoring goals for us, even when his surrounding cast was lethargic.
I don't hate the guy - it is very difficult for me to hate anyone I haven't personally interacted with. But I have certainly lost respect for him because of the way he has conducted himself this summer. I would still love to have him suit up on opening day though.

The minute I see that bucktooth grin and those six guns blazing... I'll be over it... just like those battered women that keep going back to their dudes (Sorry, terrible analogy)

Our last thread went 414 pages. If this Suarez shite continues we will shatter that record

quote:I agree that he has been pretty disrespectful to Liverpool this past off-season, but I have to think the majority of his actions were motivated by his agent. I assume his agent knew he didn't have much leverage, so he was trying to create some by being outspoken in the media. Fortunately for us, it backfired on him, and he looks pretty bad. I would absolutely take him back in a heart beat, but I will always know he is not 100% committed to the club.
