It's only a pre-season friendly but our weakest links were the two fullbacks.

Its no secret that I hate Glen. His neanderthal touch is inexcusably poor. Dude can cut in on his left, but that's about it.

Allen made great runs and was quite effective but imagine a good finisher in his place (read Mkhitaryan).

He put himself in brilliant positions. Its obvious its all mental now. Once he gets the monkey off of his back he'll hopefully recover to the form he had last fall.

quote:

Lucas looks like he is improving constantly.

He put in arguably the best individual performance of the preseason today. Dude was destroying shite left and right. Every time the ball crossed the midfield line he was crashing into someone (and successfully too).

quote:

And Aspas needs to learn finishing better cuz if he does, boy have we got something special.

I've said it before. Mark my words. This kid will be something really special for us. Especially if we can get him working off of Suarez.

Also Hail Stevie G.

King Kenny himself says he's greatest Liverpool player of all time. And damn his wife is bangin.

Fun match to watch. Iago is a good player. He reminds me a lot of Suarez. Works hard and runs the channels.

Really wish God would have gotten that goal. That would have been fun.

Coutinho's ball to Sterling was simply orgasmic.

There will never be another man quite like him. He had the drive, ambition, and competitive urge that Brian Clough had. Except he wasn't an insufferable and arrogant prick.

From speaking with the club and the board there is no actual date [on a cut-off point] but certainly there is a timeline beyond which you would never sell, and really we are at that stage now because it is so close to the start of the season. We're focused on Luis being here and getting more in so we are part of the conversation about being at the top of the table."

Still coach talk for the most part, though the later it goes the more comfortable I feel.

As much as I hated that fricker when he was playing, I think I respect him more than any other pundit out there right now. His analysis is refreshing, original, and surprising level headed and fair.

And by the way, that's definitely set up in the boot room. Pretty awesome motivational stuff by BR.

He essentially is Suarez's personality in a Manchester United kit. About as torturous a combination for a LFC fan as you can imagine.

Well, yea, it's supposed to be like that; most visiting locker rooms are.
