Liverpool never ceases to amaze me. I thought you were two years out, one with luck. It´s amazing to see what´s going on this campaign. Kudos.

We all thought we were two years out.....from Champion's League. Its been a special season, and no matter how it ends, I haven't had this much fun watching this club in years. Even Rafa's title run was nothing compared to this.

ETA I too, meant CL. I still don´t know if yáll will win a league title.

Exactly. I never fully appreciated attractive football until it was my squad who were doing it. I've been spoiled now.

I'm just glad your defending is shaky, because otherwise you'd probably be coasting to a title.

Yeah I know. Boggles the mind, considering its 90% stupid mental mistakes that shouldn't be happening regardless of the formation. Its like they've forgotten how to play.

He's becoming one of the best in game strategists in England. I've never trusted a manager's substitutions like I've trusted his.

Why are you trolling a Liverpool thread? Do you and Randy take turns poopooing football?
Trolling? I'm being serious. They have the best attack in the EPL and if they had any sort of defense they'd be killing the league. I could only wish Chelsea had that sort of attack.

If Suárez is going anywhere, it´s to RM. He fits in perfectly with Ancelotti´s project.
ETA Behind Lewandowski, who´s an even better fit.
I think the Falcao thing could be over (still wouldn´t surprise me, but I know the penchant Flo has for Benzemá, and let´s face it, while far from perfect, he´s definitely woken up).

Still, he is a fantastic manager. Results - that's all he cares about. Very instrumental in helping to revolutionize English football as well. He was crucified for his infamous squad rotation and zonal marking, both of which are basically mainstream in the league now. Not to mention his 4-2-3-1 that he brought from Valencia.

Very true. As a Liverpool supporter I have a very hard time saying anything negative about Rafa. I still have such great memories of the man on and off the pitch.

Yea. Rafa's teams were similar to Mourinho's, in the fact that sometimes they are hard to watch.
The only time I thought they were hard to watch in my view was in 09-10, when they lost Alonso, and struggled getting from their defensive block to an offensive shape. Thinking back now, Rafa's teams always tried to combine Mourinho's stance on defensive positioning with Wenger's views on offensive freedom, and when it worked, it was lovely to watch. There was one game against Atletico Madrid in the Europa League which had one of the best near goals I've ever seen. The interplay was magnificent and boner worthy.
What I find with this 'Pool team is that they seem to be a very "British" attacking team. There is no pensiveness on the ball, there is a directness in their attack, which destabilizes opposition defenses because the attack is on the ground and thus values pace. The closest corralary I can think of in recent years is the 09-10 Chelsea team, with Ancelotti, a team that was so direct it was alarming. That Chelsea team had a better defense, but it was still a lovely team to watch. I think this 'Pool team is more brutal than that Chelsea team, who seemed to be bigger. Oddly this 'Pool team seems to be smaller that Chelsea iteration, but uses speed more effectively. I've watched 'Pool more recently and I've enjoyed what I've seen.
