God on Suarez - "I'm starting to dislike him because he's making all the ex-Liverpool strikers look very very average"

I think it just hit me how ridiculous all 4 of those goals were. Each one would have been a highlight goal of just about anyone else's career. He had all 4 in one game. Still in awe.

I keep watching that first goal and was wondering what he saw there... Ruddy doesnt appear to be far off his line...

Was it initially hit out of frustration or just the confidence of a world class, very in form striker?

You're right, he wasn't

I think Suarez is just confident as hell and said Ahhh, frick it, I guess I'll give this a shot

The first thing that popped into my head was Gerrard yelling at him for trying it last year.

Can't say a bad thing about this one though. There may be other more prolific goal scorers, but no one has a killer instinct like Luis. He really brings new meaning to the phrase "he scores when he wants."

England manager Roy Hodgson has admitted putting Daniel Sturridge's "resolve to the test" by playing him through injury during the nation's recent loss to Germany.

The former Liverpool boss—whose doomed Anfield reign lasted a little over six months between 2010-11—has risked the anger of his former club by indicating he opted to play Sturridge, despite the striker not being 100 percent fit, reported by Neil Ashton of the Daily Mail Online:
Nice job Roy....

Prior to that, BR made some comments about Sturridge needing to get on the practice field, etc. Its possible BR and Roy thought Sturridge was full of shite and exaggerating his injury. He was having a very solid season so far, cant imagine him faking injury (unless he's disgruntled with Suarez's return but everyone knew the deal). Sturridge is better with Suarez on the field, and vice versa imo.

I highly doubt he's not happy with the Suarez return. The two of them have a creepy psychic connection up there. He's said before that people that think he's pissed are crazy.

yeah, no doubt... It's not like he's been benched, they partner each other

IF Sturridge was somewhat cautious I would probably blame it on his injury history and not wanting to push something that may keep him out over an extended period...

A high quality gif of that fan's on-field gestures would be awesome.

Relatively pleased with that first half... Better finishing and this one is over...

Hopefully, we'll get a couple in the 2nd half

But our inability to keep a clean sheet is frustrating
