Hate to be the negative guy harping on this, but lets face it - he should never have been playing. Toure has limited mileage - we need to get the most out of him.
I don't care who else we had to play CB this match - it shouldn't have been him.

The guy played, what, 10 games last year?
The chances of our getting 38 PL games out of him are slim.
Start adding in these type of games and we'll definitely be down to back-ups in the 38 games that truly matter.
No, it wasn't a season long fatigue today - but there's just no reason to add to his miles right now and put him in position to get hurt or to be run down later this season. He won't play 45 games all comps this year - guarantee.

Sktrtel out, Coates out... His fitness looked fine the first few games and thru preseason..
We just didnt have the bodies... I'm willing to bet if Skrtel was fit, he's have played today. I'm not arguing your point..

Wonder how bad Kolo's injury is and what the word is on Skrtel?
Glad to see us fight back after conceding the 2 goals and going down a man... Sturridge is continuing his goal scoring form, too.. Gotta love Hendo's play in MF
Sure, I'd have liked to see some players subbed off, but Cissoko and Allen's injuries probably screwed up his scheduled subs and those 2 2nd half goals really fricked us...
Oh well, Sunday morning at Old Toilet... cant wait!
