The match went downhill immediately from the second Carragher entered the match. He's a liability at this point.

Our bench was pathetic. I've seen a lot of gripe about it and it's completely true. A defender (Carra), a keeper (Jones), ONE scorer (Carroll, lol), THREE CMs and Joe fricking Cole.

The only defender on the bench was Carra. No Enrique, no Robinson, no Coates.

I guess he assumed he could switch Kelly to center and play 3 back in the case of an injury? I mean, its dumb, but it was West Brom. I don't think anyone ever thought we would lose 3-0.

My only thought process is that he wanted to take out Lucas and Gerrard right after half to save them for our midweek match. Brought along a couple extra CMs and just never thought a red card would happen.
