Just finished watching. A very lackluster performance from Liverpool. I expected more. I get it that Gomel is in the middle of the season, we're still adapting to a new system; I still expected more. Lucky to have won.
Gerrard looked out of sorts. But I'm confident he'll come into his own in due time in this 'new' system. StewDown!!! What a strike! Where in the motherfrick has that been!!?!? I hope he keeps it up.

Agreed. Though I did watch starting at halftime, he just looked kind of weak. He was very tepid going into 50-50 challenges and was getting out-muscled in a lot of balls he normally gets. Part of me thinks that he wasn't going 100%. Makes sense when its the first game back, no reason to get injured against a team like Gomel.
