Agree here. I don't see how he isn't first on the team sheet if healthy for league matches at least. I can see him getting plenty of rest in midweek Europa, League, and FA cup matches though. My feeling is if he isn't playing a huge role then trouble is shirley brewing. I could be wrong though.

I just don't think he has it in him. He looked exhausted at the end of the Euros.
I hope he plays 30 matches, but I just don't see it. (strictly talking about the league).

I doubt they will.
He looked good on the American Tour, but I think Brendan will bring him along slowly...

I'm recording too. LSUSOBEAST1 posted a good preview for today's match, with details of what squad to expect. It should be a strong side (relative to Gomel's strength), but will still be used as a way to get some of our lesser guys some minutes.
I think Lucas is probably a month or so away from being full strength. I think he would be used as a second half sub at this point.

What time is it on? I totally forgot to record. Guess I'm going to have to take my lunch break to go home and set it.

All of the contributors get asked the same question via email and we send it back with answers. We all picked almost the exact same squad. It was like we all talked it out together

Solid squad.

Definitely.
700th appearance for Carragher. While he's certainly not our best central defender right now, the man is still a living legend and a Red through and through.
Now just try not to do anything stupid.

Gerrard gave Caragher the armband for tonight. #respect

Daniel Agger's agent quoted as saying Agger isn't injured and says his omission from #LFC squad is down to the manager and club. Interesting
Whoa
